Art and Ask Event during Research Week at Memorial University

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Art and Ask Event during Research Week at Memorial University. Conversations between Prashansa Kooshna (she/her), MES Candidate at the University of Waterloo and research collaborator on the Marine Biomass Innovation Project, and Dr. Tana Allen, VP Research at Memorial, produced an art piece titled “Unlearning and Relearning Research: Reflections from an Art and Ask Event at the WATERR Lab.” Colonial roots are seen, unseen, entangled and deep but Mother Earth holds space for knowledge to sleep. With time, respect, and care a place will evolve for all to share, This not about dollars or titles to hold, it’s about the future, our relations so one must be bold. So rest earth mother, continue to nurture as you are the most important co-researcher.
